Competitive Intelligence Seminar for High Technology
& Life Sciences Businesses

Get the information you need to determine what your competitors are doing, what they are planning to do and what you should do to be a contender in your field of business.

What are your competitors doing? Are there good matches for your company to develop strategic alliances? Are cost considerations more important than research infrastructure? What are emerging markets for your product? Should you involve your company in trade shows and conferences?

These are just some of the questions that will be answered in a one-day Competitive Intelligence seminar to be delivered by Dr. Jonathan Calof. Dr. Calof will provide participants with a range of tools to use, talk about enhancing sources of information, identify how to validate information, and discuss how to reach management decisions on intelligence.

Dr. Jonathan Calof has become recognized as a leader in the area of competitive intelligence. He is a Director of the Canadian Institute of Competitive Intelligence; has given over 500 speeches, seminars and keynote addresses around the world on competitive intelligence; and has helped several of Canada's largest companies and government agencies enhance their intelligence capabilities.

In response to industry demand, this seminar is being offered as part of the "Innovation Series" of seminars that facilitates increased commercialization and reception to new technology by Alberta firms.
